At the heart of your new SUV is Chevy's dependable and powerful Vortec V8. New for 2007 and 2008 is Active Fuel Management to help save some money at the pump. These small blocks are capable of getting most jobs done but when the load gets heavy the factory cast manifolds get in the way of performance and efficiency. JBA's Cat4ward® Headers designed for the Vortec V8 open up the breathing on your truck with high-flowing mandrel-bent 1-5/8" primary tube that merge into JBA's patented Firecone® merged collector. By reducing back pressure and turbulence in the exhaust, the JBA headers free up torque, horsepower and efficiency lost in the factory set-up. Get as much as 14+ hp and 21 lb-ft of torque at the tires. These headers also feature ultra thick 3/8" laser-cut flanges and are available in a variety of finishes to fit your specific needs. Each kit includes high quality hardware and thorough instructions for a professional bolt-on installation.
